UEFA U19 Championship

On Tuesday July 3rd, the UEFA European Under 19 Football Championships will kick off in Estonia and Down In The Box will bring you every kick with the return of its extensive coverage of the tournament finals.

Last year DITB brought you news, features, interviews, previews, reports and live blogs as Spain’s youngsters swept aside the competition. Our coverage proved so popular, we’re back again this year. The holders, again under the tutelage of Julen Loptegui, will face stiff competition from France and Noel Blake’s England side, both teams with a history in this tournament to rival and even better that of the Spaniards.

Last year’s semi-finalists Serbia return, Portugal are back after missing out last year and Greece, like their senior counterparts, have navigated qualification with ease. Croatia and hosts Estonia make up the rest of the participants and ensure the tournament is as competitive as ever.

As well as covering this year’s tournament with news, profiles and reports, DITB will be bringing you interviews with stars of Under 19 Championships of the past and some respected names in youth football. We’ll also look back on last year’s tournament with our ‘Flashback’ series, available to view on our Facebook page.

The latest addition to the DITB stable, the Twitter feed @DITBUnder19s is a dedicated portal for the tournament, allowing you to follow every rising star and every kick in 140 character form. Make sure to follow us if you haven’t already, and you won’t miss a thing.
